We are proud to announce our client's new Social Enterprise Scheme called 'Amber Active' which is a sports and stretch club set up to offer opportunities for fitness, health and wellbeing within our community.
In addition to feeling good, raising self awareness and confidence, promoting better health and possible improvement in ability, sport and exercise can also bring added benefits such as social interaction and friendship. Amber Active believes that it can make a positive difference by opening up opportunities for individuals to get fit, learn new skills and feel personally empowered.
The physical and psychological benefits of exercise should be made available to all and be experienced by all including those with a disability. So why not join us for Amber Active at the Ryland Centre, New Road, Bromsgrove. Our sessions cost £3.00 and the next one is being held on Friday 1st March between 11.00 and 12.00.
Paralympian Richard White
Our local Paralympian, Richard White, came to join us for our first session and gave us tips and advice on sports fitness. Richard came to our Amber Paralympic Games last year and we would like to issue a special thank you to him for his encouragement to set up our new fitness club.
