CLIENT VOICE ROLE LEADS TO FRIENDS REUNITED
Amber Support recognises the importance of client involvement in ensuring the provision of a quality service and empowers clients to take a full part in all areas of our work.
We believe that client involvement should be more than consultation: it should empower clients to take a central role in designing, developing and delivering services, and to take ownership and responsibility for services.
We are very proud that Chester O Neil has taken up the role of Client Voice within our organisation; a role which he has been carrying out for the last couple of years. He involves himself in identifying actions to address issues rasied by clients during his attendance at Client Meetings.
Chester attends all Client Meetings, in all locations where he listens to clients feedback and reassures them that they have a voice at all Management Meetings and that all complainTs and compliments are shared with the senior people within the organisation.
Recently, whilst attending A Client Meeting at our Market Garden Community Project, Chester was reunited with Tim, from Arden House who attends the project. It was an emotional reunion as Chester lived with him over 20 years ago – it’s a small world!
